This week was all about inspiration and presenting our ideas.

The thought of really putting into words and showing to the class what was once an exciting idea of something we would like to build upon and be part of is really amazing.

My personal take on this week is all about motivation and what lies ahead as we start building prototypes and go deeper on this whole project.

I'm extremely motivated to make this prototype and this concept into something that I'd love to be able to play one day and that's the mindset that I plan on pursuing throughout these phases of development.

What was done this week?

Well, this week we did a presentation of our first idea on what we would like our concept to be. We used presentation slides to better illustrate what we're thinking of in terms of game visualization and genres and we also submitted a documents file with more details on our player's actions, motivations and the general goal of the game.

I hope that we get chosen to be assisted by the School of Arts team because that would mean that our game could really be an amazing game to play and enjoy.

My contribution

Fortunately our whole team was really focused into figuring out what we would like our game to be. We all contributed a lot with traces and bits of games that we love and how we could bring the best of those games into a single one that could really show a promising and enthusiastic gameplay.

As it is described in our Game Pitch this game is all about city building with an adventure and action gameplay as there is the need to fight off enemies in the world. My contribution was related to the city building part as I really love all kinds of city building games and I've always wanted to build my own. Fortunately my colleagues accepted that idea really well and that's where we all grew the idea and made it unique.
