Week 4 - Daniel Lopes

Low-fi Prototypes

Hello hello once again! I'm very happy to be here writing about our developments and update you on our progress.

This week was all about planning and building our low fidelity prototypes. These prototypes help us put our ideas into literal paper and think about them and whether they make sense or not.

First, we, the developers, came together and talked about which prototypes would be good to try and have some user feedback on. It was decided that we would make 3 prototypes: a prototype of a combat situation; the quests system; the city building portion.

Having decided on which prototypes we were going to make, we distributed the work so that each developer would make one prototype, test it with a user, a get some feedback and reactions on it.

The prototype that I'm doing right now is the city building portion that will give us an idea of how we want the city builder to behave. I'm probably going to use drawing to more easily make the prototype as the sole purpose of this prototypes is to get an idea of this game portions.

Once this prototype is finished, we will update our page so that you guys can also see our conclusions and progress.

Thank you for tuning in and as always see you next week ;)
