Hey folks, how are you?
This week the team and I joined to discuss a kind of workshop to decide new opinions about new contexts in the game, such as:
- How do you imagine the main character and what do you think about its interaction with objects?
- What do you think about the Map?
- What do you think about having a day/night cycle?
- What do you think about the Missions/Achievement system?
- What do you think about the combat system?
- How do you feel about the City Building part to progress through the game?
We have good feedback about these questions and we decided to implemet several things.
About the map:
- We decided that the world map will be similar to Mars, with some different greenery and base materials from Earth, like trees and plants.
Day/night cycle:
- Some monsters will appear in the day and other kinds of monsters will appear at night;
- The player will have the possibility to execute some tasks exclusively in the day and others at night.
Missions and Achievement systems:
- Having a mystery quest will be more exciting for the player. This kind of quest will be a little different than the usual ones because they will not give all the information to complete them but the rewards will be much better.
Combat system:
- Implement a system of health points bars;
- The player will have to click on the enemy to attack it.
City building aspect:
- There will be upgrades for buildings that have already been built.
